How warm are your tanks?

Our aim is to maintain a temperature of 37 degrees. This mirrors the body’s natural temperature and the experience of being in the womb.

Will I sink?

In short, no. You will be lying in 10" of water which is infused with 500kg of Epsom salts, meaning you will float easily.

Do I need to know how to swim?

The abundance of Epsom salts infused in our waters means you are perfectly buoyant and will have no need for swimming skills.

Do I need to bring anything with me?

No, just yourself. Many people choose to float without a swimsuit however, that’s entirely up to you. Our tanks are cleaned after every float to maintain the highest hygiene standards for every visit.

We also provide towels, shampoo and anything else you might need for after your float which means you really do simply have to bring yourself.

How will I feel after?

Floating helps to restore the body and mind as well as boost your overall wellbeing. You will feel rested and relaxed once you are done with your float, and you might even feel like a lie-down in our relaxation room.

What if I have medical conditions?

Floating is generally considered safe for most people however, if you are concerned, we would recommend you consult your doctor. Also, it’s worth highlighting that floating is considered to have many benefits for the body and mind, including anti-inflammatory properties.

Can I leave the door open and what if I’m claustrophobic?

We would recommend closing the tank’s  door so that you can experience complete sensory deprivation. Or, even, trying to close the door over in the first instance.

That being said, if you prefer to leave the door slightly ajar, that is entirely possible. We’ll support you to do whatever you feel comfortable with.

Also, remember, our tanks are designed with comfort in mind, so they are very roomy!

Can I float with a partner or a friend?

Yes and no. We absolutely recommend you come along with someone (and, many people do) however, it’s worth pointing out, you will be in separate tanks and in separate rooms. That being said, you will be able to catch up in the relaxation room afterwards and compare your experiences.
