ABOUT FLOAT CENTRE GLASGOW
At The Glasgow Float Centre, we are bringing the newest and best floatation sensation spa experience to the city.
Sensory deprivation tanks, also called isolation or flotation tanks, are used for restricted environmental stimulation therapy (REST).
And rest is what they give…
to mind, body, and soul.
HOW FLOAT THERAPY HEALS
The world today can be a busy, stress filled rush through the day.
Whether in work or play, at home or in the office we are subject to so many forms of white light filled information bombarding us with messages and visual impressions from computers, mobile phones, and TV.
Commuting on busy roads or public transport and working long hours too, it’s no wonder the body and mind can get overloaded.
At The Glasgow Float Centre spa you will relax in the world class Orbit Float Tank. Within a fully soundproofed room this state-of-the-art unit is filled with around a foot of water packed with 500kg of Epsom salt that allows you to float weightlessly and completely free of any external stimuli for a whole hour. You can also, if you wish, have guided meditations, gentle light, or soothing music to aid your relaxation. The choice is yours.
Float centre spas are springing up all over the world now because of the exciting health benefits that floating provides. The experience is the closest thing on earth to being without gravity. Lying flat on the therapeutic hot salts, the spine returns to its natural state and by being weightless your joints and bones are relieved from the gravity that pulls us down meaning you can rest and recover. Floating is a remedy that can last for many days after your visit.
Simply put, floating can help the body repair itself faster and might just change you whole outlook!
